Additional Tips

Meeting the minimum and recommended requirements for Fortnite on PC is good, but sometimes we encounter issues even when exceeding the minimum requirements. Here are some tips that might be useful, as they can help reduce LAG or make your internet connection much more stable.

  • Driver Updates: Always check that your Windows drivers are up to date. They usually update automatically, but it's better to confirm.

  • System Optimization: Check if the applications running in the background are slowing down performance and close them, obviously not the essential ones.

  • Wired LAN Connection: If you have the possibility to buy a LAN cable and connect it to your computer, go ahead. I assure you that if you have a good internet plan, you will forget about PING issues, at least for the most part.

Recommended Settings

I have already mentioned the minimum requirements for Fortnite on PC, the recommended requirements, additional tips to have fewer performance issues, and now it's time to give you the recommended settings within the game to help you have even fewer problems. You won't be playing with the minimum processor and getting the game to run at 120 FPS, not at all. So, below I will leave an embedded video for you to follow the tips, although they are only applicable to the Fortnite REMIX 2 season, but they might be useful in the not-too-distant future.
